Forge Your Future is operated by WithYouWithMe (WYWM PTY LTD, ABN: 70 615 621 577) in partnership with Year13 (Year 13 PTY LTD, ABN: 93 606 583 706) – collectively referred to as We or Us. We are committed to protecting the privacy, safety, and wellbeing of all participants, in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations.

Please note that this information pertains to your involvement in the Forge Your Future program and does not impact any existing, or future, engagement you may have directly with WithYouWithMe or Year13.

Participation and Data Collection

Participation in Forge Your Future is open to Australian students aged 15 to 19 years.

As part of your involvement, we will collect and process personal information necessary for participation in the program. This may include your:
  • Name, date of birth, and contact details
  • School and educational background
  • Responses to surveys, assessments, or program-related activities
  • Engagement data, including interactions with learning resources
This data is collected and stored in accordance with the WithYouWithMe Privacy Policy and the Year13 Privacy Policy and the additional context in this document.

Use of Your Personal Information

Your personal information will only be used for purposes related to the administration, delivery, and evaluation of Forge Your Future, including:
  • Facilitating participation in the program
  • Providing educational and career development support
  • Analysing engagement and effectiveness of the program
  • Ensuring compliance with child safety and data protection policies
Your information will not be used for marketing or commercial purposes beyond Forge Your Future.

Data Sharing & Third-Party Access

Your personal information will not be used for any unrelated commercial purposes by us, nor will it be sold or disclosed to third parties not disclosed in this document without your consent.

Your data may be shared with:
  • Year13 in relation to delivery of Forge Your Future
  • The South Australian Government or your school in relation to improving your experience engaging with Forge Your Future
  • If you are under the age of 18, your parent or legal guardian at their request
  • Where legally required, such as compliance with law enforcement or regulatory obligations
Activities where your data may be shared with third parties with your explicit consent include:
  • Industry opportunities - Applying for apprenticeships, training programs, or job placements
  • Career development resources - Receiving tailored guidance on specific pathways
If you do not consent to share your data for these purposes, you may not be eligible for certain opportunities.

Aggregated & Anonymised Data Use

We may use aggregated and anonymised data from Forge Your Future for purposes such as:
  • Program improvement and reporting
  • Research and analysis to improve Forge Your Future
  • Industry insights and education policy development
This data will not contain your personally identifiable information.

Your Rights & Data Protection

As a participant, you have the right to:
  • Access your personal information held by us
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Request deletion of your data at any time
  • Withdraw consent for your participation in Forge Your Future

This privacy notice may be updated periodically to reflect changes in laws, policies, or program operations. Any updates will be communicated to participants and posted on the official Forge Your Future website.
